Event Description:
The concept of holistic health dates back 5,000 years ago when Socrates stated, “…the part can never be well unless the whole is well.” Today, the concept of maximum well-being through an integrated mind, body & spirit connection includes a broad range of topics, all of which can be found at the Hunterdon Holistic Fair. The 13th Annual Hunterdon Holistic Fair hosted by NORWESCAP Career & Life Transitions Center (CLTC) will be held on Saturday, October 29th from 10 am until 4 pm at the Flemington Elks Lodge in Flemington, NJ. While many desire to enjoy a high level of vitality and well-being, they may not yet know the role and extent that a holistic approach plays. This fair is an opportunity to meet and learn from many practitioners in this field. Whether you are seeking holistic guidance, or just to have a fun, creative, and unique experience, this event is the place to be on the Saturday of Halloween weekend. Free workshops presented by an extensive panel of experts are offered all day. Naturopathic physician Dr. Derek Roger, clinical herbalist Cheryl Karcher, Reiki Master-Teacher Sue Ann Seccia-Harnden, nutrition counselor Susan Richter, hypnotherapist Judy Cosentino & more will be covering topics such as treating illnesses from heart disease to diabetes, wellness for your pets, hypnotherapy for cancer, herbal solutions for women’s stages of menopause and more. Seating for these workshops is limited to 25 per class so be sure to RSVP at: 2016hpf.eventbrite.com or by calling 908-788-1453. This event also features a variety of holistic and metaphysical vendors selling distinctive wares or providing holistic practitioner information & services such as massage therapy, chiropractic care, Reiki and acupuncture that include; Wonderful World of Crystals, Lifeguide - Lynn Rene McDonald, LimeLight by Alcone, Fluid Touch Massage, Gaia's Gifts, Steingas Stories LLC, Bonnie Jean Skincare & Spa Service, Fifth Dimension Healing Energy LLC, Hunterdon Healthcare Integrative Medicine to name a few. Additionally, there will be eight of the foremost mediums, psychics, and clairvoyants from the Greater Tri-State area offering private readings using various methods of intuitive powers, tarot and angel cards, numerology, shaman healing and crystals. Private, 15-minute readings are available with the following: Dorella Simpkins, Jeanne Pacheco, Michael Zaikowski, Sheree Dye, Ann Fleming, Cecelia Barndt, SummerHawk Wolf and our returning headliner Trish Woods. Readings are $30 and include your admission for the day and a copy of the program book. If you been to this event in the past, you know how quickly time-slots fill up, so schedule early at 2016hpf.eventbrite.com or by calling 908-788-1453.
