HUNTERDON CHAMBER HOSTS LEADERSHIP HUNTERDON OPEN HOUSE
Have you heard about Leadership Hunterdon? Want to learn about the program? Hear from past graduates of the program? If so, you will want to attend!
Hunterdon Chamber of Commerce will host this year’s Leadership Hunterdon – Open House. The event will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. The event is open for registration and will be hybrid – virtual as well as in person at the Chamber.
Leadership Hunterdon Impact for Life will host a panel discussion of past graduates of the program. Hear from Michelle Heide, Private Wealth Advisor, Michelle Heide & Associates, Brad Muller, Esq., Compliance Manager and Credit Acceptance Attorney, and Caroline Scutt, Director of Communications and Donor Relations at Da Vinci Science Center. They will share how this program has impacted their careers, their lives as well as their organizations.
The 10-month immersive program takes participants on a “behind the scenes” overview of Hunterdon County. Through the course of the program, class members are exposed to issues that face the County including transportation, tourism, public health, government, and more. Along the way, the participants meet with key leaders in the business, community, the non-profit sector, and politics. They graduate from the program with stronger leadership skills and enhanced knowledge of the County to take back to their respective organizations, businesses, etc.
“Leadership Hunterdon has proven itself to be a contributor in cultivating strong leaders for business and non-profit organizations in addition to raising the level of engagement in community service here in Hunterdon County,” said Chamber President and co-facilitator Chris Phelan.
