Lowe & Patel – Good Neighbor Award
Loew and Patel Orthodontics has built a strong reputation for providing high quality, state-of-the-art orthodontic treatment for people of all ages in a fun environment. Dr. Darren Loew and Dr. Niyati Patel-Parekh love helping patients achieve exceptional dental health and beautiful smiles. They deliver gentle orthodontic care, tailored to each person's specific clinical needs and goals, to families throughout the Flemington, Annandale, and Bridgewater communities.
Dr. Loew attended Bucknell University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and education. He completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, and his orthodontic residency was completed at Children’s Hospital. He serves on the faculty at Washington Hospital Center, where he teaches the orthodontic residents. Dr. Loew is very involved in the community as a local business owner and loves knowing, seeing, and interacting with so many wonderful people in and out of the office. He has been involved in the Flemington Rotary Club for many years and has served as President of that group. He visits local schools and speaks to the third-grade classes about their dental health during Children’s Dental Health Month in February.
Dr. Niyati Patel-Parekh received her Dental Degree from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2010 graduating number one in her class. She was granted the Alpha Omega National Fraternity Award of excellence for her scholastic achievement and received the American Association of Orthodontics Award by the faculty in addition to numerous awards. She received her orthodontic specialty certification and her Master's in Dental Science from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2013. She was also appointed as the Chief Resident during her residency. Dr. Patel is passionate about volunteering and giving back to the local community.
Lowe and Patel Orthodontics regularly gives back to our community through their programs like Holiday Bills in partnership with Prevention Resources helping local families in need, to the Candy Buy Back Program at Halloween. This past year they took back 2,800 lbs. of candy from their patients and gave that to Operation Jersey Cares which then delivers the candy as part of their care packages to our Troops overseas.
For over 20-years they have treated patients with Autism. This extension of the Loew and Patel Orthodontics family has taught us a lot about individuals with Autism and make it a priority every year to be part of creating awareness and revenue to support organizations that help families in our community.
Loew and Patel Orthodontics interlaces exclusive dental services with leadership within the community. We can all agree that you are a fantastic neighbor to everyone in Hunterdon County. With this being said…
Congratulations on the Good Neighbor Award. You Deserve it!
