Northlandz – Tourism Partner Northlandz is the world’s largest miniature wonderland located in Flemington. This miniature wonderland is the home to the world’s largest model railroad recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records. Built by artist and model train enthusiast Bruce Williams Zaccagnino, the amusement park spreads over 16 acres of land with over thousands of one-man hand-crafted miniature structures. In 2019 Tariq Sohail purchased Northlandz and after 10 months and a quarter of a million dollars of renovations reopened with a Chamber ribbon cutting ceremony. Some of the unveiled renovations include restoration of about 75 non-working trains; restoration of damaged scenes; and new landscaping, flooring, interior and exterior paint, LED lighting and exterior sign. There is also a new gift shop, private event space and play area for kids. Northlandz showcases replicas of the iconic landmarks to a fully operational model railroad, Northlandz has something for everyone. In addition, there is an 1890s steam engine replica Outdoor Train that is a hub of excitement and thrill for little ones as well as adults. This train runs on a 30-minute-long track passing through a 150 ft. long tunnel and crossing an extensive bridge. Northlandz has been featured on some of the most popular travel shows and publications, including New York Times, CNN, FOX, Popular Mechanics, Bloomberg, Roadside America, ABC news, Business Insider, and many others. Northlandz is a famous family tour destination, attracting visitors from all over the world to Flemington, NJ. The 2023 Tourism Award rightfully belongs to Northlandz!
