The Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce recently held a Ribbon Cutting for a new business, Ellie Mental Health in Hunterdon County, located at 270 South Main Street in Raritan Township. Ellie was founded in 2015 by Erin Pash and Kyle Keller when they opened the first Ellie clinic. Since their beginning success, the Ellie family has continued to grow with multiple clinics in Minnesota and a growing number of franchises across the country. Ellie was proudly founded on the principle of destigmatizing mental health. The mental health industry is full of barriers, and they have made it their goal to fill the gap and find innovative ways to break down these barriers for the communities they serve.
Ellie Mental Health’s mission is to compassionately transform the culture of mental health care by providing creative solutions that make wellness accessible in every community. Ellie Mental Health knows that caring for your mental health and being vulnerable with someone you just met can seem scary. They do everything that they can to make each Ellie appointment as comfortable and as fun as possible. They aim to walk along this journey with their clients and provide them with a comfortable place to talk, decompress, do the work, and heal.
“My business partner Ruben and I are so excited to be taking on this new venture. We have owned several other businesses but this one has so far been the most fulfilling and we don’t anticipate that changing. We are all making a real impact in our community and helping people heal and there’s nothing more satisfying than that! We can’t wait to see where this journey continues to take all of us,” commented Andy Garcia, Partner of Ellie Mental Health
Jordan Mealey, Clinic Director of Ellie Mental Health remarked, “My passion and dedication to the mental health field is truly fostered by Ellie Mental Health. We are grateful every day to offer support to any person ready to care for their mental health and work on normalizing this kind of service. We welcome anyone looking for a nonjudgmental, comfortable, healing space to go on their journey toward personal wellness.
Chamber President Chris Phelan added, “We are always excited when new businesses launch here in Hunterdon County and joins our active business community. Andy, Jordan, and the entire Ellie Mental Health team have a great background in their respective industry. We look forward to their organization becoming a member of the Chamber and the business community for many years to come.”
