April 8, 2021 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: HUNTERDON CHAMBER HOSTS 12th ANNUAL WOMENS’ LEADERSHIP SUMMIT The Women’s Business Forum of Hunterdon County, a committee of the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce, will be virtually hosting its 12th Annual Women’s Leadership Summit on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. via ZOOM. This year’s virtual summit theme is “Resiliency”. This conference attracts attendees from Hunterdon, Somerset, Warren, Mercer and Bucks Counties, as well as the Greater Philadelphia and New York regions. Hunterdon County Chamber President Chris Phelan said, ‘We are proud to present this 12th Annual Women’s Leadership Summit. This is a tremendous opportunity for representatives from businesses both small and large, to come together to share information and knowledge. We are delighted that this event continues to grow each year and look forward to the program at this year’s Summit.’ Due to our current changing environment which has presented us with so many obstacles and so little time to adapt and make business changes to fit the environment, we believe this year’s summit will help to bring you guidance and information to assist you. Remember, you are not alone in today’s changing world and moving forward. The Summit structure has changed to accommodate current group gathering restrictions. The program will be virtual and shortened from previous years of a full day. Although shortened, we are still excited about this year’s program on “Resiliency.” The agenda for the Summit will kick off at 8:00 a.m. with a Networking Session facilitated by Jim Barnoski of Performance Selling. At 8:30 our first guest speaker, Nicole Piazza, Owner of Clean Plate restaurant in Clinton. Nicole will present “Finding Strength in the Possibility of Reinvention and Surviving with Creativity and a Bit of Hard Work.” Following at 9:30, our next guest speaker, Megan McDowell, MSW LPC Founder and Chief Visionary Officer at Heartworks. Megan will present “Resiliency and the Two Choices We Have When the Hard Stuff Happens.” This is a day filled with great information and will provide inspiration to all! The Summit is for everyone, not just women. The Chamber wants to thank the Presenting Sponsor, Michelle Heide & Associates of Ameriprise Private Wealth Advisory Practice and Committee Chair, Collen Duerr of Shifting Gears Consulting. We hope you will join us on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. If you have not yet registered, please visit our website @ www.hunterdon-chamber.org and click on News and Events.
